James Puleo, Architect

Principal

A professional architect, project manager, and practice leader – James is passionate about forming teams of consultants and clients to shape and improve the built environment. He is proud to form these powerful teams and support clients in their accomplishments.

James directs teams of architects, interior designers, engineers, and industry experts across a wide range of projects and development typologies. He leverages his varied and international project experience to build partnerships with clients and industry collaborators to develop innovative solutions to unique and complex projects.

Able to adapt teams to various project delivery requirements - James provides client groups with the shaping of their projects, the evaluation of options for project execution, and strategic partnership with industry collaborators to bring alliance-based solutions that are innovative, yet practical, to execute his clients’ vision.

James is a Registered Architect in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. He is also registered in Pennsylvania, of the United States. James is able to obtain architectural licenses across North America.

Michael Piper, P.Eng.

Practice Leader, Operations

Michael is a Professional Engineer with twenty years of experience across a diverse portfolio of work in structural engineering and design. He brings a background in heavy industrial, mining, traditional oil and gas, infrastructure, commercial, residential construction as well as hydroelectric and forensic engineering.

Michael was raised with a hammer and 2x4 in his hands by his mechanic father who instilled in him a passion and willingness to take on any challenge. From getting his hands dirty building a house or leading the design of a large-scale hydroelectric Dam, his experience gives Michael a unique perspective and aptitude for leading our team.

Michael is a registered Professional Engineer in the Provinces of: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. He is the President & COO of engineering firm Senaltek Ltd - a partnership company of Senaltek Architecture Planning + Design Ltd

Sean Davey, P.Eng.

Practice Leader, Project Delivery

Sean brings to Senaltek over 10 years of experience with a strong focus on project management and project engineering. He is well versed in multi-discipline projects, managing budgets from a few thousand dollars to well over forty million.  Through his career, Sean has added value in full cycle project management, management of international teams, field engineering and construction management, as well as management of change (MOC) programs in industrial facilities, among others. He consistently delivers his projects on time and on budget, while managing uncertainty and pushing teams to deliver over expectations. 

Sean is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta. He is the Vice President, Projects for engineering firm Senaltek Ltd. strategically aligned with Senaltek Architecture Planning + Design Ltd.
